Message 3 of I have a homemade version I can e-mail to you it is not that large and is probably not a complete command set. However, I know I lavview read from this instrument at far greater speeds.

Message 6 of I am among the many users of the A HP Multimeter HPIB and am adding it into an already complete research tool as a means for feedback and monitoring. Actually yes i did something similar, i set the GPIB address to 0 which didnt actually do anything so i went and got another instrument programmable attenuator, really old as well, first i could grab and plugged that in along with it and changed the GPIB address back to 23 and all of a sudden it worked and it kept working no matter how i tried to get it to not work.
My problem is this: Message 4 of 6. I tried to get the manual from the HP site, but it seems that Hewlett Packard has abandoned us engineers and researchers as I couldn’t get as much as a technical reference to it. I read somewhere that you have to enable some old drivers but I the message was somewhat unclear now I’m just desperate. The automation explorer also doesn’t see the device. laabview

It’s nowhere to be found on there site What am I doing wrong? If you receive this number the device is working.
Ensure no other instrument on the bus has the same address. Did you try Andrew’s suggestion to set the address to 1?
